Terms of service
Last updated: 4 October 2026 · Contact: support@omynix.com
1. The service
The Omynix agent and Shield will be published under MIT when the public repository is available. Until then you install builds provided by Omynix on your own servers. These terms cover the hosted Omynix service (portal, dashboard and hub). If you use the hosted service, our Data Processing Agreement applies and is accepted by click-wrap when you create a workspace.
2. Professional use only
Omynix is intended exclusively for professional use. By creating an account or joining the waitlist you confirm that you act for purposes related to your trade, business, craft or profession. Consumers may not use the service. Account creation asks you to confirm this before your account opens.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify support@omynix.com of any compromise. During the invite-only beta, new hosted accounts open by invitation, not by open self-registration.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to scan or monitor systems without authorization, to mine cryptocurrency, to host or relay malware, phishing or denial-of-service attacks, or to deliberately feed false attack signals into the Shield consensus network. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules immediately and without prior warning.
5. Waitlist and beta invitations
Joining the waitlist is an expression of interest in the Omynix beta. It is not a customer agreement, a service contract, or a right to receive access.
Invitations and capacity: invitations are granted at our discretion based on stability, fleet size and testing priorities. Any queue position shown in the portal is a count of confirmed signups for transparency; it is not a delivery schedule.
No fees: joining the waitlist and the free beta is free of charge. We do not ask for or store payment details at the waitlist stage.
Accuracy: provide accurate details about your environment. We may remove automated, spam or clearly invalid signups without notice.
Leaving the waitlist: use the unsubscribe link in every waitlist email, choose "Leave the waitlist" on your waitlist page, or contact support@omynix.com. Your entry is then deleted. Details are in the privacy policy.
6. Beta
The service is in a free, invite-only beta for professionals. The beta is provided free of charge, as is and as available, without any warranty or service level. During the beta Omynix does not accept any payment, donations or sponsorship. We may change, suspend or end the beta with reasonable prior notice, except where immediate action is needed for security or legal reasons. We back up hosted data as described in the Data Processing Agreement, but we do not guarantee recovery during the beta. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose. These terms will be reviewed and revised before Omynix introduces any paid service or other form of compensation.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the beta is limited to EUR 0 for the free beta. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profits, loss of data or service interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence or death or personal injury.
8. Termination and data retention
You may delete your account at any time from the portal. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. When your account ends, your hosted tenant data remains available for export for 30 days and is then permanently deleted; local encrypted backup copies rotate out within approximately 7 days. Off-site backups are not currently used. No tenant data remains after the export window plus that local rotation. Details are in the privacy policy and the Data Processing Agreement.
9. Law and forum
These terms are governed by Belgian law. The courts of Antwerp (Belgium) have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the update. These terms will be reviewed and revised before any paid service is introduced.
11. Contact
Omynix is operated by Kaylen Stroeken, a natural person, Belgium.
